Chicago-Bound

I'm getting ready to head to Chicago this weekend for a Joyce Meyer Conference and Hillsong is leading worship! I'm totally pumped! And it gets even better because I'm going with some really incredible girls! Katie, Jamie, Miranda, Mandi, and I will pile into the car at about 3am tonight so we can make it to the session tomorrow morning at 10.
For the past few weeks it seems like I have been in the driest desert spiritually. I'm in total need of my Savior to come and shower me with big fat portions of Himself. I'm thirsty! I just feel so empty and I'm still trying to pour out with nothing really to give. So, I'm expecting huge things this weekend. I think that's ok because we serve a huge God! I want the fire to be reignited in me and remember who my true love is.
God, please fill me! I need you desperately!
Please pray for us this weekend first of all that we would meet God in a new way. Second, please pray for our safety. None of us really know our way around Chicago, so it'll be an adventure. Plan on hearing a great report when we come back!

    Worse Tony I'm her brother which takes all of the competetive fun out of it I know but trust me when I say that this well is dry. And, for future reference, girls are more receptive when you spell their name right. For that matter so am I.

    Ok, first of all, for the last time it's E-L-I-S-E! (Pronounced: ee-lease). GET IT RIGHT Tony! And secondly, when you mess with one Russell, you mess with both Russells, Josiah. I think you really shot his confidence. (No hard feelings though "Papa".)

    And seriously, Tony, I think you just want attention and that's why you're making a feeble attempt to woo a girl over the internet who, by the way, isn't the slight bit interested in you. (Or you're just having fun pulling everyone's legs). If you really want a beautiful woman that you think you deserve maybe you should find out who God wants you to be first, then strive to become that godly man and when you truly have a passionate relationship with Jesus and delight yourself in Him he will grant you the desires of your heart (if it be a truly beautiful woman or whatever.) He promised! Psalm 37:4.

    Haha Katie! I think I should probably change that message pretty soon. Who wants to do it next? Any takers?
    Zach, I'm just going to have to refer you to Katie's blog about Chicago because that's pretty much everything I would say. So, read that as many times as you need to attempt to get the full effect of the incredibleness of God and how we experienced Him that weekend. It really was awesome! Hopefully I'll get to go to the Joyce Meyer/Hillsong Women's Conference in St. Louis in just a few weeks and experience it all over again!
